One of the UK’s largest independent drainage companies, the UK Drainage Network (UKDN) has been given The Co-operative Insurance Claims Supplier of the Year award at the RSA and The Co-operative Insurances’ Supply Chain Collaboration Awards.
UKDN scooped the award after feedback given from The Co-operative’s staff and customers, which recognised UKDN’s commitment to customer service and the support provided for claim handlers.
Paul Wozencroft, insurance sales director at UKDN, said: “A company with an excellent reputation for customer service such as Co-operative Insurance needs to work with suppliers that also place delivery and customer service at the heart of their businesses. Because of our non-franchise model, our clients can be confident that we will protect their brand by carrying out work to the highest possible standards.”
Mark Dibley, Supply Chain Manager at The Co-operative Insurance said: “UKDN were selected as the claims supplier of the year for 2011 as they meet and often exceed the very high standards we set for our suppliers. They consistently provide an excellent service to both our customers and colleagues, making them a pleasure to work with.”
The award follows a year of extensive growth for the Solihull headquartered company. The acquisition of Waterflow Holdings and Drain Control have helped the business to double its turnover to £50 million and it now has a 550 strong team of directly employed skilled operatives working across its national network of 18 depots.
