Arith Liyanage has joined UKDN Waterflow to head a comprehensive review of their rail and infrastructure strategy. UKDN Waterflow provide specialist drainage and infrastructure services to the rail sector, and are a leading player in the no-dig UV lining arena, a process that saves considerable possession time, money and reinstatement costs for culverts, drains and sewers.
He has worked on and led some of the UK’s most interesting construction and infrastructure projects, and has focussed for the past six years on the challenges of the UK rail sector.
Arith Liyanage’s career has spanned the delivery of major building and infrastructure projects; leading change management programmes and the introduction of new business improvement processes. Latterly as Managing Director for Rail, Arith led business strategy and growth for leading engineering companies Carillion and most recently Laing O’Rourke.
Arith will lead a complete review within UKDN Waterflow’s rail and Infrastructure division as the Interim Director of Rail, shaping the company’s sector strategy for 2015 and beyond.
